About the event
Featuring Jordan Wax & Jake Shulman-Ment
Ever tried to explain a Yiddish-speaking monster to a four-year-old? Now’s your chance.
Join us for a participatory concert that’s part folklore, part rhythm, and 100% screen-free energy. Santa Fe’s own Jordan Wax and master violinist Jake Shulman-Ment are bringing the "golden chain" of Yiddish tradition to the foothills—minus the stuffiness and plus a lot of stomping.
Expect songs from the new album Pantakozak about everything from polar bears to legendary creatures. If you’ve been looking for a way to get your kids into Yiddish culture without a textbook, this is the "golden chain" you've been waiting for.
The Game Plan:
The Show (45 mins):Â A high-energy performance where kids are encouraged to move and adults are encouraged to remember how to play.
