We’re feeling mighty freylekh(joyful)—and ready to dance—to invite you to a rare, double-featured Shabbat day of music in Santa Fe. We are hosting two of the most innovative voices in modern klezmer and Yiddish song—Jordan Wax and Jake Shulman-Ment—for their first-ever joint tour of the Southwest. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to catch these two master custodians of the "golden chain" of Yiddish tradition.
Jake, hailed by NPR as "one of the finest klezmer fiddlers on the planet," brings a world-class pedigree spanning from HBO’s Succession and Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman to international festival stages. Alongside him, our own local powerhouse Jordan Wax leads the charge in Yiddish cultural renewal right here in New Mexico.
