About the Exploring the Jewish Experience Course EJE
Exploring the Jewish Experience Course (EJE)Â is a year-long course on Judaism and the story of the Jewish People. The 2024 Fall Trimester focuses on Jewish history, modern Jewish thought including Zionism, Liberal and Traditional Judaism, and the constellation of views held by mordern Jews. Â We will also treat the phenomenon of anti-Semitism and its impact of the Jewish experience.
Master teachers, Rabbis Dov Gartenberg, Jack Shlachter, Dr. Michael Nutkiewicz, and Joy Rosenberg present Jewish practice and festivals, turning points in Jewish history, the varieties of Jewish thought, and the unique mix of culture, practice, and religious views that animate contemporary Jewish life. Open to all backgrounds.
Tuition is discounted at $18 for 18 sessions through mid January 2025. Only $50 for the full course of 44 sessions. The course can be taken online or in-person: Tuesday evenings in Santa Fe starting September 3rd. Wednesday evenings in ABQ starting on September 4th.
