Shabbat with Friends Gathering/Farbrangen in Santa Fe, Len Goodman and Deborah Avren Hosts

Shabbat with Friends (SWF) Gatherings (aka “Farbrangens”) embody the Jewish tradition of making the Sabbath a “delight-oneg”. Held in homes in Santa Fe and ABQ they are always held on Shabbat, feature an expansive festive potluck meal, and bring an immersive musical experience of singing together songs from the Jewish folk tradition enlivened by the live music of an ensemble of musicians who know how to convey joyfulness. A SWF Farbrengan is welcoming, spiritual, and an enriching way to experience and observe the Sabbath.

This Shabbat with Friends  gathering/farbrengen is hosted by Len Goodman and Deborah Avren and will feature:

• A special “Torah Roll” in honor of Simchat Torah

• Local Santa Fe Musicians, Judah Horowitz and Liv Orovich

• Songs of Shabbat and Simchat Torah
