About the event
This event was originally announced for early afternoon but has been rescheduled for the same day, now starting at 5:30pm and concluding no later that 7:30. SWF originally scheduled a Israeli dancing/singing event, but the gathering was repurposed to respond to recent events. Â
Rabbi Dov Gartenberg will present and facilitate a conversation about the sudden war in Israel after the surpise attack by Hamas on Saturday, October 7th. Â We will conclude with Shirah-the singing of Israeli folk songs to express our solidarity with the people of Israel during this terrible time. Â
This event is hybrid. Because of our excellent videoconferencing equipment we can conduct this as a combined online and in-person event.Â
