About the event
What is the Q Minyan?
The Q Minyan, AKA The Questioners' Minyan, is an opportunity to go in depth into Jewish prayer and liturgical traditions. Led by Rabbi Dov Gartenberg, participants explore the meaning of Jewish prayer and the ritual experience of traditional worship. Participants will learn how to connect to Jewish prayer and be better able to participate in any Jewish service locally and in other communities.Â
The Q minyan also serves as a context to ask hard questions and converse with other thoughtful people about God, Jewish religious ideas, and varieties of spirituality within and beyond Judaism. The Q Minyan can be experienced in-person or online. It is also free. The Q minyan is a program of Shabbat with Friends NM. Donations to Shabbat with Friends NM (a 501c3) are welcome and sustain programs like the Q-Minyan
