Shabbat with Friends Resumes our New Mexico Shabbat gatherings with a musical Shabbat gathering at the Kitchen Table dining space in Santa Fe. We'll enjoy an amazing Shabbat potluck dinner followed by an evening of singing Shabbat and Jewish folk music with the Oneg Shabbos Ensemble led by guitarist, Judah Horowitz, percussionist, Issa Noor, and vocals by Rabbi Dov Gartenberg.
Since we have entered the summer, we will feature Jewish wedding songs among the melodies we share. These are especially joyous, up-tempo, and infectious.
SWF gatherings are free and open to the community. We welcome first-timers as well as anyone who loves coming to mark Shabbat with feasting, singing, and learning. Our events are child-friendly and feature folks of all ages.
