About Shabbat with Friends' Musical Shabbat Gatherings
Shabbat with Friends New Mexico gatherings embody the Jewish love for making the Sabbath a delight, known in Hebrew as "Oneg Shabbat". At SWF gatherings we:
share a Shabbat potluck of food delights.
chant the beautiful table traditions of the Friday night meal.
share talented musicians who stimulate us to sing ancient and modern Jewish melodies
learn a couple of Torah insights to illumine our lives.
