About the event
You are invited to a Shabbat with Friends Musical Gathering in the Sukkah of Rabbi Dov Gartenberg and Melissa Drolet for a soulful evening of song, story, and connection on the Friday evening of the during the week-long festival of Sukkot. The evening will feature a delicious Shabbat potluck meal, live music of our Oneg Shabbos Ensemble, and participatory table singing of Sukkot and Shabbat songs.
As part of the evening, Rabbi Dov will teach about the distinctive hospitality traditions of Sukkot and how Shabbat with Friends seeks to revitalize the Jewish customs of welcoming guests and the practicing Judaism with joy and love.
