About the event
You are invited to a SWF Santa Fe Event: a musical Havdalah in the Sukkah for a soulful evening of song, story, and connection on the Saturday evening during the week-long festival of Sukkot. The evening will feature a delicious Shabbat potluck meal, live music of our Oneg Shabbos Ensemble, and participatory table singing of Sukkot and Shabbat songs.
As part of the evening, Rabbi Dov will teach about the distinctive hospitality traditions of Sukkot and how Shabbat with Friends seeks to revitalize the Jewish customs of welcoming guests and the practicing Judaism with joy and love. Learn more about Shabbat with Friends unique approach to community and to Jewish learning.
This event is open to the community, free, and kid/teen friendly. Bring friends and family and meet new friends and faces. Come no matter your background and learn a new song or tradition of the festival of booths.
