About the event
The first Shabbat with Friends NM Shabbaton (Shabbat retreat) will feature joyful Shabbat meals, learning services with Rabbi Dov, walks in the hills, a L'ag B'Omer bonfire and kumsitz, the music of Jordan Wax and Judah Horowitz. We will also have the privilege of learning from a great Jewish teacher, Noam Zion. He is a renowned author and educator, editor of A Different Night Haggadah and Scholar at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem.
The SWF Shabbaton offers a day and 1/2 to transcend, rest, meet interesting people, and absorb the desert beauty of an exceptionally lovely location.
The Shabbaton is for adults 19 and up with only 20 spots. Rabbi Dov and a team of SWF volunteers will lead and coordinate it. Click on these buttons for information and registration.
